'Ashton Rediscovered' masterclasses 2021-22

The 'Ashton Rediscovered' series of masterclasses features recreated, rarely performed and revisited works by Frederick Ashton, the masterclasses being given by original cast members or by later leading cast members. Introduced by Jane Pritchard, Curator of Dance at London's Victoria & Albert Museum, and featuring dancers of The Royal Ballet, each masterclass includes an Introduction and short Q&A and is followed by a reception. The masterclasses are filmed for educational and research purposes.

Owing to the Covid pandemic, only one masterclass was presented during 2021-22:

Les Rendezvous (1933) with Dame Merle Park and Les Patineurs (1937) with Wayne Sleep, and an Introduction to the Foundation's Shadowing Scheme for trainee Ashton Repetiteurs by Lynn Wallis, 20 February 2022
