'Ashton Rediscovered' masterclasses 2016-17
A series of masterclasses presented by the Frederick Ashton Foundation were given at The Royal Ballet (Upper) School by the original casts of rarely-performed works by Frederick Ashton during 2016-17.
Presented by Alastair Macaulay, chief dance critic of the New York Times, and featuring dancers of The Royal Ballet, the masterclasses were filmed for research and educational purposes.
Each masterclass included an Introduction and a discussion and Q&A, and was followed by a reception.
