Masterclass event
The Frederick Ashton Foundation hosted a champagne reception and two masterclasses in aid of the Foundation at the Royal Ballet School on Thursday 2 October 2014.
Guests enjoyed a masterclass on Scènes de ballet with Royal Ballet principals Sarah Lamb and Steven McRae, given by Christopher Carr, Guest Principal Ballet Master to The Royal Ballet, followed by a masterclass on A Month in the Country with Royal Ballet principals Natalia Osipova and Federico Bonnelli, given by Royal Ballet Repetiteur Jonathan Cope.
The Foundation is very grateful to The Royal Ballet and the artists concerned for agreeing to participate in what was considered to be a most interesting and enjoyable occasion. The Foundation was delighted that guests were joined for the masterclasses by students of the Royal Ballet Upper School.
The proceeds of the evening contributed to the Foundation's Ballet Purchase Fund.
